Wistron combines the forces of its Kaohsiung R&D Center and Wistron Medical Technology to jointly develop a "Hsiung Feeling" somatosensory technology health promotion project, and cooperates with the Kaohsiung City Xiaogang Hospital to set up a "somatosensory for ageing dementia screening service". This program uses interactive multimedia and gesture recognition technology to perform screening for dementia symptoms, and integrates physiological monitoring by wearable devices, interactive multi-media, and case management platform to launch a comprehensive "three high fitness smart care service", provide interactive health care for healthy Asian ethnic groups and the elderly, and push the somatosensory motion detection technology to a higher-level applications. Wistron is honored that the plan has been recognized by the Kaohsiung Somatosensory Technology Program, and a signing ceremony will be held today. In the future, it will cooperate with Kaohsiung City government economic development bureau to promote the related health promotion programs of Somatosensory Technology.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health Services this year, there are 270,000 dementia patients in Taiwan. Wistron develops the "somatosensory for ageing dementia screening service" and cooperates with Kaohsiung Xiaogang Hospital to set up a somatosensory experience field and will collect information applications in preventive medicine, effectively integrate with health promotion services, and promote health care in an aging society. Using multimedia interaction and gesture recognition technology, important evaluation items are integrated into the somatosensory health promotion activities, and the public is screened for invisible symptoms of dementia while experiencing the health improvement activities of multimedia interaction. On-site hospital staff provides consultation and follow-up referrals to assist the public in early diagnosis and early treatment, and to reduce the public's alertness to receiving assessment and treatment for dementia. Dementia screening services increase the rate of older people doing screening and help improve the effectiveness of case management in hospitals.

Another collaboration with Kaohsiung Xiaogang Hospital is the “Three High Physical Fitness Smart Care Service” project. Wistron developed a somatosensory interactive system, wearable device for physiological monitoring, and a cloud data case management platform to provide a full range of effectiveness control services . Different from traditional fitness training, it can increase the safety and entertainment of the process. With the cloud incentive points exchange mechanism, it will increase the willingness of the people to continue participating.

Wistron continues to work in the field of intelligent healthcare, from medical equipment contract manufacturing and smart hospital solutions to the services for promotiing of somatosensory health and long-term care.
