In order to build a digital and smart hospital with technology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Quanta Computer and Wistron Corporation this morning (8). Signed by Representative of the Chairman of the Board of Wistron, Simon Lin, Chairman of Qunta, Barry Lin, and Dean of the hospital, Deming Zhang.
Dean Zhang Deming said that in order to improve the quality of medical care for the people, the development of smart medical care is a worldwide trend, and it is also the main development direction of Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Both Quanta and Wistron are pioneers in domestic technology research and development and are also committed to promoting the development of smart healthcare. The excellent medical team of Taipei Veterans General Hospital and the two outstanding pioneers cooperate in cross-disciplinary fields, which will complement each other to achieve a substantive and mutually beneficial relationship. At the same time, it will lead the promotion of domestic smart medical services to jointly improve the quality of medical care and provide safer environment for medical staff. A more efficient working environment has brought Taiwan's smart medical working station to the top of the world.
Quanta Computer Chairman Barry Lin pointed out that Taipei Veterans General Hospital has a reputation for high-quality medical technology at home and abroad, and has very rich clinical and research experience. In addition to maintaining the advantages in its core business, Quanta has continued to work hard in recent years to diversify its efforts in areas such as smart health, smart medical care, and long-distance care. For the cooperation between the two smart hospitals, it will fully support and actively introduce artificial intelligence technology innovation.
